Ordering Process for Custom Items

Once you contact us, we'll have a meeting to get an idea of your needs, design style, and any specifics required for your project. We'll then determine the best materials to use, as well as approximate sizes and quantities needed.

Next, we'll prepare concept and shop drawings to show the construction and sizing for each fixture. This is a give-and-take process - we're open to client feedback and will make appropriate revisions to nail down your vision (or, if you'd like direction, BAL's vision for the fixtures).

We'll then request final approval on all drawings, and an invoice will be submitted. We request a 50% deposit on all custom orders to get started, with the balance payable upon receipt of the fixtures. Production time will vary based on current workload, but the average lead time is about 8 to 10 weeks for delivery.

Return Policy

At Bronze Age Lighting, every fixture is made to order and crafted to your specific design and finish requirements. Due to the custom nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once production has begun. Your satisfaction is important to us - please review the details below.

Custom Orders

  • All sales are final on custom-made products.
  • We strongly encourage clients to review all specifications, finishes, and drawings carefully before approving and placing an order.
  • Any changes requested after order approval may result in additional charges and extended lead times.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Provide clear photos of the damage or defect, along with your order number.
  • We will assess the issue and, if warranted, repair or replace the item at no additional cost.

Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.
  • After 48 hours, cancellations may be subject to fees or may not be eligible for cancellation, depending on the production stage.

Shipping Issues

  • We take great care in packaging your lighting for safe delivery.
  • Please inspect all packages immediately upon arrival and note any visible damage with the carrier before signing for the shipment.
